IBERFOIL, in its effort for the continuous improvement and to offer to its clients the maximum quality and safety in all its products, bets for the Sustainable manufacture. With a policy “Waste 0” all the surplus is collected by suction, packed and sent to be recycled, nothing is a waste, everything is recycled and re-enters the circular economy. 

IBERFOIL, recently, is part of the Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI), a certification and standard setting organisation that recognises and promotes the production, supply and responsible management of aluminium. This global initiative, which aims to support members of responsible supply chains such as IBERFOIL, is the result of producers, users and stakeholders coming together to create a “responsible aluminium” agreement. 

The certification according to the ASI (Performance Standard) defines 59 principles, such as factory management, business integrity, transparency, materials management, environmental care, CO2 emissions or labour rights. 

These requirements, fulfilled by the factory, lead to the ASI certification, which is an environmental, social and management guarantee for the customers. 

In addition, IBERFOIL also constantly promotes the UN Sustainable Development Goals:

It has an exhaustive Risk Prevention policy, investing great efforts to guarantee the occupational safety and health of its workers. It provides specific courses in health and safety to raise awareness of the risks associated to the job and prevent any type of incident. In 2020, on the occasion of the pandemic, it obtained the “BSAFE” certificate, which certifies that the workspace is “clean and safe”.
Guarantees an inclusive, equitable and quality education by promoting learning opportunities through participation with Professional Training Centres, High Schools in the area and Universities, providing its students with the possibility of doing their internships in the factory where, later on, they can continue developing their professional career with IBERFOIL.
Periodic controls are carried out on the use and characteristics of industrial water that is used for cooling rolling mills, as well as the rest of the water inside the enclosure, and also controls the piezometers inside the enclosure.

94% of staff contracts are permanent, with a higher salary than the one set by the Metal Agreement of the province of Huesca. The company is committed to its employees, innovation and internal promotion, thanks to its "Employee of the Month" project, where the most innovative ideas of its employees that add value to the company are awarded monthly.
It has recently expanded its infrastructure with the new aluminium coil tension leveller machine, which ensures that the coils are levelled without imperfections and allows the company to enter new markets with new, competitive and high-quality products.
Frequently reviews the production process to optimize the resources used and ensure a sustainable production, controlling the raw materials consumed and reducing the waste generated.
